Amy Royall, M.S., CCC-SLP
Amy received her Bachelor of Sciences degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of South Florida, Tampa. She received her Master of Sciences degree in Speech, Language and Communication Disorders from Nova Southeastern University, Ft. Lauderdale, Fl. Amy holds a specialization certificate in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). She received specialized training in Pediatric Feeding Disorders, Oral Motor Assessment and Treatment, Pediatric and Adult Swallowing Disorders and Accent Reduction and Dialect Modification.
Amy is a respected and reputable specialist in the area of pediatric feeding disorders. She implements quality, compassionate and skilled intervention to her clients and their families based upon training received through professionals affiliated with the following institutions and individuals:
- Kennedy Krieger Institute at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine
- Kluge Children’s Rehab Center at the School of Medicine, University of Virginia
- St. Mary’s Center for Children
- Children’s Hospital of Richmond, Virginia
- World renown and leading research specialists including Dr. Joan Arvedson
Amy is the founder of Riverside Speech and Language. In 2008, she was named one of Gulf Coast Business Review’s “Top 40 Under 40″ professionals in the Tampa Bay area. Amy strives to maintain a position of influencial involvement in the community and amongst other professionals in the field of pediatric therapy.
